Order Update: Taking a Short Break Before We Get Back to Full Throttle

Every now and then, even the most dedicated riders, makers, and small business owners need to pull over, switch the engine off, and take a proper breather. That is exactly what we are doing here at Chicken Strips UK.

We wanted to let our customers know that any orders placed from 8 May 2026 will be delayed while we take some much needed time off for a short vacation. Orders will begin being printed again from Friday 22 May 2026, and they will then be dispatched as soon as they are ready.

We know delays are never ideal, especially when you are excited about a new hoodie, custom design, or reflective print landing on your doorstep. Because of that, we want to be completely upfront and make sure everyone knows what to expect before placing an order.

Chicken Strips UK is a small, rider-led brand. That means a lot of care goes into every order, from the design work through to printing, packing, and getting each item ready to send out. We are not a huge warehouse operation with endless machines running in the background. We are hands-on with the process, and that is something we are proud of. It also means that when we step away, production pauses with us.

This break is about taking a bit of time to down tools, clear our heads, and recharge properly. Like any good ride, you cannot keep pushing forever without stopping for fuel. A little time away gives us the chance to come back sharper, more focused, and ready to hit the ground running again.

The last few months have been full of new designs, hoodie drops, custom orders, website work, and plenty of late nights making sure things are moving in the right direction. We absolutely love building Chicken Strips UK and seeing riders wearing our gear, but it is important to look after the person behind the prints too.

Taking time off is not always easy when you run a small business. There is always another job to do, another idea to sketch, another order to sort, another improvement to make. But sometimes the best thing you can do for the business, and for the people supporting it, is to step back for a short while and come back with fresh energy.

What this means for your order

If you place an order from 8 May onwards, it will still be received safely through the website. You can still browse, shop, and place your order as normal. The only difference is that printing will not begin until we return on Friday 22 May 2026.

Once we are back, orders will be printed in the order they were received, then dispatched as soon as they are complete. Delivery times will apply from the point of dispatch, not from the date the order was placed. We will work through everything as quickly as possible when we return, while still keeping the quality where it needs to be.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding while we take this short break. Your support means a huge amount, whether you have ordered from us before, shared the brand with a mate, followed us online, or simply kept an eye on the latest hoodie drops.

Chicken Strips UK has always been about more than clothing. It is about the riding mindset, the garage conversations, the weekend roads, the mistakes, the laughs, the learning, and the community that comes with life on two wheels. Taking a little time out helps us keep showing up for that properly.

We will be back from 22 May, recharged and ready to get orders moving again.
