SAVE THE KOALA 🐨🏍️ – Because Apparently, Being Seen Isn’t Enough!

One unlucky biker. One very familiar nickname. One custom hoodie with a message!

At Chicken Strips UK, we love creating something a little different. Especially when there’s a good story behind it.

And this one? Well, this one might just be one of our favourite custom creations yet.

Meet the Koala. 🐨

Not an actual koala, obviously. Although, judging by the number of times our mate has been knocked off his motorcycle, we’re starting to think he might need protecting like an endangered species!

Our friend rides a Honda Rebel 1100, and pretty much everyone who knows him reckons he looks like a koala.

So when it came to making him a custom hoodie, there was really only one direction we could go.

A Hoodie With a Bit of Attitude (and a Serious Message)

The idea was simple: create something that would make people laugh, look fantastic and, hopefully, make other road users take a little more notice.

We designed a custom black zip-through hoodie featuring a rather cool-looking koala, complete with aviator sunglasses, a leather biker jacket and his very own Honda Rebel 1100.

Because if you’re going to be a koala, you might as well be a badass one.

The back features a huge SAVE THE KOALA design, surrounded by eucalyptus leaves and motorcycle-inspired artwork.

And underneath it all?

“PLEASE DON’T CRASH INTO ME.”

Subtle? Absolutely not.

Necessary? Well, given his track record, apparently so!

But There’s a Twist – It’s Reflective! ✨

We didn’t want this to be just another funny motorcycle hoodie.

With our mate having experienced more than his fair share of unwanted encounters with other vehicles, we wanted to add something practical too.

So we incorporated a reflective section into the back design, giving it an extra chance to catch the light when headlights hit it.

During the day, it’s a bold custom motorcycle hoodie.

When light catches the reflective detailing, parts of the design shine back.

Of course, reflective clothing isn’t a substitute for proper motorcycle safety equipment or attentive drivers. But anything that might help another road user notice a motorcyclist has to be worth considering.

Especially when that motorcyclist is our very own Koala!

It’s More Than Just a Hoodie

One of the things we love most about Chicken Strips UK is that not everything we create has to be an off-the-shelf design.

Sometimes the best ideas come from a nickname, an inside joke, a particular motorcycle or a story that’s been told a hundred times down the pub.

This hoodie brings all of those things together.

It’s personal. It’s a bit cheeky. It’s unmistakably biker.

And most importantly, it’s something our friend can wear knowing it was made specifically for him.

That’s what custom motorcycle clothing should be about.

We’re genuinely chuffed with how this one turned out.

The artwork, the Honda Rebel 1100, the reflective detailing and the ridiculous-but-brilliant message all came together exactly as we’d hoped.

Now we’re just hoping our mate can finally enjoy some uninterrupted miles without somebody trying to rearrange his motorcycle!

So if you see a bloke riding a Honda Rebel 1100 wearing a SAVE THE KOALA hoodie, give him a wave.

And maybe give him a little extra room, too. 😉
