Check Your Lights Before Dark Rides

Dark rides make lights more than a legal detail. They are how people see you and how you read the road.

Check dipped beam, main beam, tail light, brake light, indicators, number plate light, and any auxiliary lights. Make sure the headlight aim is not pointing at the sky or ten feet in front of the tyre. Clean the lenses too, because winter road film can dull everything.

It takes minutes and makes the ride feel less like guesswork.
