Road Salt Changes The Maintenance Plan

Road salt is useful for cars and cruel to motorcycles. It gets into fasteners, chains, calipers, radiators, and all the little corners you only notice when they start looking tired.

If you ride through salted roads, rinse the bike regularly and dry it properly. Pay attention to the chain, brakes, and exposed metal. Protect what needs protecting and do not let wet salt sit there for weeks.
